JCK Las Vegas, a Chance to Reflect and Grow

My Dear Friends,

I am writing this blog as I wrap up the final night at the JCK International Jewelry trade Show in Las Vegas.  Attending this industry show is both beneficial professionally and emotionally.

On a professional level, I was able to meet and greet with some of the most talented jewelry designers and craftsman from around the world. There is some incredible technology being developed in jewelry design as well. It's not just about 3-D printing anymore. It's about software that helps make precision cuts,  equipment to make the dullest stone shimmer, and even multi-function jewelry - the ability to transform necklaces to bracelets and rings to pendants! It is a unique and memorable experience to be able to have the opportunity to attend a globally attended event.

In addition to the professional aspects, the show also afforded me the chance to attend the the 20th anniversary celebration of the amazing charity called Jewelers for Children.  Through the continued generosity of jewelry trade organizations, jewelry and watch manufacturing companies, jewelry retail stores, individual jewelry professionals, and jewelry consumers, Jewels for Children has donated over $53 million to children affected by illness, abuse, or neglect. Their funds are sent to hospitals, shelters and the like to help improve these children's lives.

At last night's event, Jewelers for Children asked each person in attendance to donate $20 and receive a "heart" to pin onto themselves. There were over 1000 people in the room - each one wearing a heart!  If you, my loyal Or Paz Community, have yet to find a charitable organization that has stolen your heart, I invite you to visit https://jewelersforchildren.org/ to learn about this organization who continues to help children all over the world.

 Yours,

Danny
